MRT - Returns Saturday October 19, 2019
MRT (metabolic resistance training) is a term covering various combinations of cardiovascular and muscular training. MRT can involve supersets, circuits, speed, low rest and compound movements; it almost always packs a double-punch of aerobic and anaerobic work, breaking down barriers between traditional weight training and cardio. If that sounds terrifying, don’t worry. All the movements and workouts in the MRT class are scalable for any fitness level. If you’re sick of long rest periods and the sleepy treadmill slump, MRT might be for you.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Starts Tuesday October 8, 2019
All levels are welcome in this Vinyasa Flow yoga class. We will explore asanas (postures), mudras (gestures that guide energy), pranayama (breath), connecting breath with movement, and more. Focus on being in the moment, on being present. As you move through each asana, listen to your body. Vinyasa means "to place in a special way" - come and hold space on your mat for some gentle flow.
